Paradox Studios TT is seeking a detail oriented and analytical individual to fill the position of a Tech & Web Quality Tester. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing on websites and digital products, identifying and documenting issues, and working collaboratively with developers and designers to deliver optimized, error-free digital experiences.

Responsibilities

• Test websites and web applications across various browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure optimal performance and proper display.
• Identify, replicate, and document bugs, glitches, or inconsistencies in functionality or layout, including clear reproduction steps and screenshots.
• Cross-check that website content and design match project specifications and mockups, flagging discrepancies.
• Work with web developers to communicate issues and retest resolved bugs, ensuring fixes are effective without causing new issues.
• Monitor site performance (load times, broken links, form submissions) and verify SEO elements and accessibility compliance.
• Develop and execute test plans and use cases for new projects or feature updates, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and contribute to QA documentation and post-launch reports.
  
  

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 4+ years of experience in website testing, software QA, or related technical quality assurance roles.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress and Shopify); ability to use browser developer tools.
• Experience with QA methodologies including writing test cases, performing functional, regression, usability testing, and using defect tracking tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for identifying issues and anomalies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting bugs and collaborating with technical teams.
• Ability to quickly learn new tools and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• A proactive team player with a strong commitment to quality and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in web development firms, tech startups, or digital agencies.
• Background in software or application testing with familiarity in structured QA processes and agile methodologies.

Experience testing e-commerce websites or interactive media platforms, understanding the importance of user experience in high-traffic, consumer-facing sites.
